Building Cleaning Management(a.k.a Birukuri-ningu)

・Job Description

Work to clean the interior of buildings while supervising multiple workers and managing the work site, as well as planning, progress management, and other management duties related to the same work.

・Requirements　

Foreign nationals must meet the prescribed requirements in (1) and (2).

(1) Cleaning of the interior of specified buildings as stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Building Sanitation Law, or cleaning of buildings (excluding residences) conducted by a business office registered as a building cleaning business as stipulated in Article 12-2, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the same law or as a comprehensive building environmental sanitation management business as stipulated in Article 12-2, Paragraph 1, Item 8 of the same law. The requirements are practical experience (guidance and management experience) as a person who is engaged in cleaning the interior of buildings (excluding residences) conducted by a business registered as a building cleaning business stipulated in Article 12, Paragraph 2, Item 1 or a business registered as a comprehensive building environmental sanitation management business stipulated in Article 12, Paragraph 2, Item 8. The qualifications for taking the examination require at least two years of experience in supervision and management.

(2) Passing the Proficiency Test Level 1 (Building Cleaning) or passing SSW (Specified Skilled Worker-Tokuteigino) No. 2 Evaluation Examination

 The Technical Skills Test Level 1 is administered mainly by the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association.Please contact the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association of your prefecture for the schedule and details of the test.Please also note that there are qualifications for the Technical Skills Test Level 1.
