Construction Industry(a.k.a Kensetsu)
・Requirements
(1) Pass SSW (Specified Skilled Worker-Tokuteigino) No. 2 Evaluation Test or the Technical Skills Test Level 1.
(2) Work experience (work experience as a foreman who supervises multiple construction workers at a construction site and manages the work process)
〈About SSW (Specified Skilled Worker-Tokuteigino) No. 2 Evaluation Examination〉
・Test Level
The skill level of the Level 2 Evaluation Examination for the specified skills in the construction field is the same as that of the Level 1 Skill Test.
・The skill level of the examination is equivalent to that of the Level 1 Skill Test, and tests the ability to engage in work and manage the process while supervising multiple skilled workers at a construction site in a city.The skill level of the examination is equivalent to that of the Level 1 Skill Test.
・Examination Subjects and Pass/Fail Criteria
The examination consists of a written test and a practical test.
Written test:60 minutes,40 questions, 75% of the total score is required to pass.
Practical skill test: 40 minutes, 25 questions, 75% of the total score is required to pass.
A candidate will pass the exam if he/she meets the pass/fail criteria for both the academic and practical skills examinations.

The Technical Skills Test Level 1 is administered mainly by the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association.
Please contact the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association of your prefecture for the schedule and details of the test.
Please also note that there are qualifications for the Technical Skills Test Level 1.
